one week and counting

We have less than a week before we head out on our staff orientation trip here at Wilderness Wind. Two of our new staff arrived last night and two more arrive Friday. Sunday Aubrey and I went kayaking and so I'm sharing pictures from that expedition. We had a good time. It was 'healing' as Aubrey put it, to be out on the water. We had rain fall on us, saw calla lilies - wild, took cookies to the Piragis rental staff and met a neat girl named Christina; we explored Snowbank lake, laughed a lot, worked our muscles and realized again that we have a lot to be grateful for!
