On a rainy day

Today is the day - before we head out on our 30/50+ mile paddle to fundraise for Wilderness Wind and to have a full day of cycles - rising, moonlight, fresh, chilly, heat, eve, hunger, weary, starlight, celebration.
There are 15 people here. Staff and volunteers; all friends. It is a full house. The energy surrounding us is one of anticipation and readines for the journey ahead.
Last night we welcomed Aryn home from Uganda. She made it in time for dinner and a special cookie/cake cut into the shape of Uganda. Chocolate Chip/oatmeal/coconut with cream cheese icing and blueberries for the water (Lake Victoria, Albert, George...) Of course, fun to create and to eat.
Lots of living has happened in the past few weeks that hasn't made its way onto this space.
Now I know what it feels like to have a back log of information, and to know that much of it won't ever get posted. Quite a shift in thinking having not blogged until this summer. The universe will continue to move and breath ...:)
i'll be back after my muscles have worked and we've celebreated and honored this place of beauty.
